In June 2026, elections will be held to appoint the slate of class officer positions from 2026 to 2031. In addition to the officers listed below, Betsey Miller is serving as our Alumni Councilor through 2026. On top of that, Kimberley Sanderson is our Head Agent and Anh Thu Cunnion is our Webmaven. Our Executive Committee is rounded out by the talents of the following classmates: Shelley Arakawa, Josh Benn, Brandon del Pozo, Pace Duckenfield, Shawn (Snipes) Gasparini, Mark Griffin, Maryam Kia-Keating, Rose Lee, Betsy Miller, Keli’I Opulauoho, Neesha Ramchandani, and Zack Stein.

The involvement of other 96s is always welcome. Get in touch if you’re interested in helping.

Before being slated for President, Garrett Gil de Rubio served in the role of Class Secretary since 2011. In that fifteen years of service, he has rarely missed a Class Notes column in the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine, always providing a newsy look at what our classmates are up to. For his devotion to the class and his role, he was awarded Secretary of the Year in 2013 by the College.  At Dartmouth he majored in romance languages, took the FSP in Madrid, and was president and founding member of Abaris, editor-in-chief of the Aegis, an undergrad advisor in Butterfield Hall, a member of Zeta Psi and Order of Omega, and active in the Council of Student Organizations and Model UN. His love for Dartmouth is almost matched by his pride for Auburn, where he received his MBA, and his zeal for Atlanta United (major league soccer). His career has led him to sales and management roles within technology-oriented companies in his hometown of Atlanta.

Slated Vice President: Dan Kashman brings three decades of experience as a founder, operator, and marketer to the class VP role. He is the founder of Tenth Mountain, which helps VC- and private equity-backed companies leverage data, technology, and creativity for growth. Over the course of his career he has worked with hundreds of organizations, from bootstrapped startups to the Fortune 50, advising on go-to-market strategy and growth. He has served as an alumni interviewer since 2009, helping introduce the next generation of students to Dartmouth.

At Dartmouth, Dan majored in economics, was a ski instructor at the Dartmouth Skiway, and was a member of Alpha Delta fraternity. His passion for the mountains has carried well beyond Hanover: he is a finisher of the Leadville 50-mile ultramarathon and a former competitive ski racer who still loves to ski fast and take chances.

He lives in Westchester County, New York, with his wife Amanda, their two children – one in college and one a rising junior in high school – and their 80-pound Bernadoodle.

Shervyn von Hoerl

Treasurer: Shervyn von Hoerl has served in the role of Class Treasurer since 2007 and was awarded Class Treasurer of the Year by the College in 2013. His tenure in this role is bested only slightly by his years almost 30 years of experience in the structured finance industry, where he has developed innovative solutions, most recently at a fintech start up.

At Dartmouth he was a member of the Tabard, a Presidential Scholar, and a history major, and could also be found in the workshops in the basement of the Hop.
